Verifying Your Identity (KYC Process)

To ensure security, compliance, and a trusted environment for all users, DoorDex requires identity verification before you can access key features such as buying or selling crypto. This is a standard Know Your Customer (KYC) process, powered by our trusted partner — KYCAID.

As a regulated Money Services Business (MSB), DoorDex complies with U.S. financial regulations. Verifying your identity helps protect against fraud and ensures that all users are genuine.

📄 What Documents Are Needed

The verification process is simple and requires only two things:

1. Government-Issued ID
   Acceptable documents include:

   • Passport

   • Driver’s license

   • National ID card

2. Selfie for Facial Verification
   You'll be asked to take a quick selfie to confirm that you’re the person in the submitted document.

Note: Make sure your ID is not expired and your selfie is well-lit, with no filters or sunglasses.

⏱️ How Long It Takes

Thanks to our partner KYC AID, the verification process is fully automated and typically takes less than 5 minutes. In some cases, if manual review is required, it may take a bit longer — but most users are approved instantly.
